Acne Rosacea – An Overview

The Acne Rosacea is a type of common, but much implicit acne that affects female three times more than it effects on male.

It affects Caucasian northwestern Europeans. In fact, in Great Britain and Ireland it is known like “The Curse of the Celtics”. It starts with a blushing of the chicks, nose or forehead! Some of the symptoms that show are the dilation of the blood vases of the face, little pimples and itching.

There are four types of Rosacea accepted in the Medical Community:

1. Eritemath-Telangiectathic: Some of the symptoms are permanent blushing, visible blood vases near the face and burning and itching sensation.

2. Papulopustulate: Some of the symptoms are some blushing and little red pimples, the last ones can contain pus and they last about 1 to 4 days.

3. Fimatose: Some of the symptoms are enlarging of the chin, forehead, the chicks, eyelids, and ears. They can also cause visible blood vases in the face.

4. Ocular: Some of the symptoms are blushed eyes and eyelids, dried and irritated, itching and burning of the whole body.

The general considerations to take for people who have this kind of acne are the following:

• Face cleaning: Do it with warm water and if possible use products that are specially made for this kind of acne.
• Avoid certain cosmetics products: you should avoid products that contain alcohol, mint, eucalypt oil and fragrances.
• Use Solar Protection: The sun causes, when we are exposed too much time to it, various problems on the skin occurs. Use a protector that is factor 15 or more.
• Facial massage: In case of persistent edemas, it is recommendable to rub the noise, chicks and forehead with a lubricant. This must be done each afternoon.
• Shaving: It is more advisable to use electric shaving machines than blades because the latest produces irritation.
• Diet: Certain types of food ingest can cause changes in our body that worsen our acne. It’s advisable to avoid alcohol, hot beverages and spicy food.
