Nodular Acne

Acne is a form of skin disorder that generally occurs in the form of blackheads, whiteheads, cysts or pimples and many more due to open pores in the skin surface and deposits of dust and cosmetics chemicals in it.

Nodular acne is a sort of acne that is caused due to blocked oil glands causing the skin and tissue to ablaze. Nodular acne is the extreme type of acne that causes pain and lasts for long time. This acne not only affects the area where it occurred but also in the inner beds of the skin resulting in the damaging of tissues and producing permanent scar.
When it occurs in the vesicles it causes terrible pain. These acnes make the appearance of face to be ugly and if not treated in time may result in permanent scar.

Treatments:

In case of minor acnes it is better to make use of prescribed antibiotic creams and face wash. Regular wash face with warm water will help to avoid acne but these treatments do not wipe out the acne completely from its root.

If the acne turns out to be terrible then we should consult a dermatologist and should be treated immediately. Treatments like isotretinoin, Accutane can be done which is oral medication it should be taken as per the prescribed doses and duration. It can cause birth defects when consumed by pregnant ladies, several other side-effects like nosebleed, destruction of skin can occur.

The better solution is to take proper nutritional diet and proper skin care at early stage of the acne rather than suffering from severe pain and medical side effects.
